Patient Advocacy/Advisory Committee (PAAC)
The WBMT has recently launched a Patient Advocacy/Advisory Committee. Global interest is apparent, although development of committee leadership, structure and mission remains in progress. Patient, caretaker, physician and nurse education are all identified as areas of need throughout the world. Please let us know if you are interested in joining this worldwide, umbrella Patient Advocacy/Advisory Committee. The next meeting of the committee will be during the EBMT 2016 in Valencia. Face-to-face meetings are likely to be held at ASH 2016 in San Diego, USA and/or EBMT 2017 in Marseille, France while teleconferences will be held on a regular basis between times.
